  lovely inn, friendly staff but my wifes food "chicken stirfry" was well over cooked to the point it was dry and tough, must add offered another meal but after waiting nearly an hour for our meals to arrive and noticed customers arriving after us were served before us that my wife declined the offer as myself and two friends were already eating our meals, also went there for sunday lunch which was average, so sadly this will be our last visit to the dyffryn arms, the 2 stars are for the bar staff

  I used eat here fairly regularly but then they went through a very bad patch and I stopped going. I'd like to eat here again but until they improve their abysmal two star hygiene rating I'll be giving it a miss. Such a shame! In most other respects its a smashing pub, good beer, nice wine, pleasant staff and nice surroundings. Come On! Make an effort! If the little backwoods takeaways and chip shops in my local village can manage five stars why can't we expect better from a well set up (and historic) place like the Duffryn?
